54/ Reflective/ KIND Reflected

IMG_5960IMG_5961

I decided to do a self portrait for my final post with the KIND logo reflected in my eyes to represent me seeing KIND or kindness in myself…or me going crazy from this project. I’ll leave interpretation up to the audience. I think this could be a cool ad for KIND, they could show portraits of leaders in the community with KIND put into the art piece somehow and perhaps under the portrait information about them and their new organization. So this is the end, hope you enjoyed.

53/ Reflection/ KIND NIKOS Body Care

natural products

I thought about a KIND all natural body care line called NIKOS, one of the root words for nature. Products would be soap, lotion, and deodorant. Like KIND they would be made out of products people know and can pronounce and will be on the back of the product packaging. The soaps will have tea ingredients and affects while the lotions and deodorants will be made out of different oils. Some of the profits will go towards therapeutic programs that help abused youth and people who were once in abusive relationships; to help them once again feel comfortable in their skin.

Here are the products and their purposes:

Soap

Green Tea- Revitalization

Chamomile Tea- Relaxation

Valerian Tea- Sleep

Ginseng Tea- Libito

Licorice Root Tea- Anti-bacterial

Lotion

Marula and grape seed Oil- Anti-aging

Olive Oil- Deep skin therapy

Argan Oil- Deep skin therapy

Black Currant Oil- Healing

Rosehip Seed Oil- Rejuvenation

Deodorant

Olive Oil

Argan Oil

Rosehip Seed Oil

50/ No Directive/ Kiki the KIND Parakeet

I was thinking about if KIND had a mascot for their brand since I feel like the KIND colors and just the word KIND is not very iconic. So, I decided to do a bird since  birds eat nuts and then I decided to do a grass parakeet because it’s feathers are the same colors as KIND’s colors. I think maybe they can put a silhouette of a bird flying on the wrapper maybe. I think they can also market to a lot of kids with this. Perhaps, Kiki could have Kiki facts which could teach children about how to be more environmentally friendly .

48/ No Directive/ KIND Models

Talking with my boyfriend we came up with the idea to do photographs of different aspects of and this is what I came up with.IMG_5868

KIND: Dominator of Taste Buds

IMG_5881

KIND the profound granola bar that thinks of others.

IMG_5890

KIND the monumental bar.

IMG_5897

KIND the fashionable, posh bar.

IMG_5908 IMG_5910

And my personal favorite, KIND the gangsta granola bar.

We thought this would be a cool and interesting way to market to different types of people and may be a little humorous as well.

47/ No Directive/ KKIND MAGAZINE

IMG_5865

For this post, I thought about KIND making  a magazine. I feel like it would be a little eclectic and cutting edge. Some things I feel the magazine would have in it would be REAL women, women of all sizes and colors; hence why I made a black woman the model for the cover. They would be modeling clothes using organic material and/or are fair trade clothing. Their make-up would be all-natural make-up and so would the advertised body products. The magazine would also be a fitness and wellness magazine. They would have some exercise routines and also healthy recipes, perhaps some incorporating KIND bars. They would also have ads for national up and coming businesses in the back. I think with every monthly issue there would be community shout-out for average everyday people who do big things to help the world or the community.

46/ No Directive/ KIND Cordyceps

I have always been interested in the deadly fungi cordyceps after reading about them and watching Planet Earth (clip shown below). I decided to make cartoon using KIND as a cordycep for humans. Only KIND makes you do kind acts like help old ladies across the street or clean-up litter and once it’s done it’ll grow out of your head and create more KIND bars, a field of KIND bars in fact that people will wake-up in.

Here’s my comic

45/ Motivation/ KIND Flower Granola Cakes Continued

I figured that it would be cool to actually try making these flower granola bars and that’s precisely what I did. I went to the organic food store near my house and I scoped out the dry herb section. I got some chamomile flowers, rosehip petals, hibiscus flowers, and goji berries.
